With Patch 12.7, these now represent an even greater danger, since they can now also loot corpses. So far, you could be sure that a looted enemy is human.

In addition, their behavior changes to blur the line between a bot and the player even further: the Scavs now sprint not only in combat but also while patrolling when they are in a supposedly dangerous position. In addition, the opponents can now form groups and jointly attack a player who is entrenched. What happens to equipment that you have insured and then looted by Scavs is still unclear.

New Weapons, New Boss, Bigger Map

The grenade launcher is the first of its kind in the game, with the GP-34 to be followed by another in the future. In any case, it will be interesting to see how the introduction of the new weapon type will affect the game balance. 

New Scav Boss: On the Shoreline map, a new Scav Boss named Sanitary will soon patrol with 12.7. As a former doctor, he can heal his gang injuries as well as his own in a flash. If you are playing a SCAV yourself and encountering sanitaryware, the boss may provide you with first aid kits and other medical supplies.

Larger map: The last major innovation concerns - besides Factory - the most popular map in Tarkov. Customs are being enlarged, including expanding the industrial area and construction site and upgrading it with new buildings that can be explored. In addition, stationary weapons are distributed on the map and the Scav Boss Reshala gets a new spawn point.
